Newly arrived in Hollywood, Jennifer was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. As a child, Jennifer did some modeling but always wanted to be an actress. While she thought of herself as too shy to be in the entertainment limelight, Jennifer developed the confidence and determination as she grew up to confront any obstacles in her path. In high school, she volunteered for every school skit or play in addition to appearing in numerous local theater productions. She also obtained valuable experience when she was invited to be the only female member of the comedy troupe "Yikes!," a group - on the verge of stardom themselves - who currently perform in clubs around Montreal.

In one of her first television roles, Jennifer became a recognizable face in Canada as a regular on the Fox series Student Bodies. In the United States, Jennifer was introduced to TV audiences in Are You Afraid of the Dark on Nickelodeon and La Femme Nikita on the USA Network. She recently completed filming the starring role in Rivals, a movie for the USA Network due to air in late 2000.

Jennifer speaks fluent French. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, singing, taking piano lessons, swing dancing and travelling.

Jennifer celebrates her birthday on August 22. She is 5'7 with strawberry-blonde hair and gray-green eyes.
